Overview

Andhra Pradesh is a state in the south-eastern coastal region of India. It is the seventh-largest state by area covering an area of 162,975 km (62,925 sq mi) and the tenth-most populous state with 49,386,799 inhabitants. It is bordered by Telangana to the north-west, Chhattisgarh to the north, Odisha to the north-east, Tamil Nadu to the south, Karnataka to the west and the Bay of Bengal to the east.

ITINERARY

Day 1

VIJAYAWADA – KANAKADURGA TEMPLE – AMARAVATHI – VIAJAYAWADA

06 AM arrival at Vijayawada Railway station pickup and transfer to hotel after fresh up and breakfast visit Sri Kanaka Durga Temple and then proceed to Amaravathi (where one can find ancient Buddhist Sculptures. Archarya Nagarjuna constructed the Country’s largest Stupa here, 2000 years back) visit Sri Amareswara Swamy Temple, “Lord Shiva” here is called “Amareswara” and “Shivalingam” was installed by “Indra” and then proceed to Mangalagiri visit Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple and back to Vijayawada – Overnight stay

Day 2

VIJAYAWADA – DWARAKA TIRUMALA (100 Kms/2 hrs) – BHADRACHALAM (140 Kms/3 hrs)

After Breakfast proceed to Dwaraka Tirumala, visit Sri Balaji Temple which is known as “Mini Tirupati” later proceed to Bhadrachalam , upon arrival check into Hotel and visit Sri Sita Rama Temple - Overnight stay

Day 3

BADHRACHALAM- POPIKONDALU – BADHRACHALAM

After Breakfast proceed to Popikondalu by boat and back to Badhrachalam – Overnight stay

Day 4

BADHRACHALAM – RAJHMUNDRY DROP

After Breakfast proceed to Rajhmundry enroute visit Godavari Bridge, Pushkar Ghat and ISKCON Temple and drop at Rajhmundry Railway station/Airport
