Overview

Uttarakhand, formerly known as Uttaranchal, is a state in the northern part of India. It is often referred to as the "Devbhumi" due to its religious significance and numerous Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres found throughout the state. Uttarakhand is known for the natural environment of the Himalayas, the Bhabar and the Terai regions. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north; the Sudurpashchim Pradesh of Nepal to the east; the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh to the south and Himachal Pradesh to the west and north-west. The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon with a total of 13 districts. The winter capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city of the state, which is a rail head. Gairsain, a town in Chamoli district is the summer capital of Uttarakhand. The High Court of the state is located in Nainital.

 

ITINERARY

DAY-1

DELHI LOCAL VISITS – HARIDWAR(240 Kms/5 hrs)

Pickup and transfer to Hotel for freshup and Breakfast and then visit Qutab Minar, India Gate, Red Fort, Lotus Temple, Indira Gandhi Memorial, Birla Mandir, Rajghat, Sri Balaji Mandir [Lotus Temple, Indira Ghandi memorial & Red Fort will be closed on Monday]– overnight journey to Haridwar

DAY-2

HARIDWAR-RISHIKESH- SRINAGAR(110 Kms/4 hrs)

Early morning arrival at Haridwar after freshup and proceed to Rishikeshand then visit Ram Jhoola, Lakshman Jhoola, Geeta Ashram, Swarg Ashram, Shivanand Ashram, Geeta Bhawan and Paramarth Ashram and back to Haridwar have a holy dip in Ganges river at Hari-ki-Pauri and see Mansa Devi Temple by Ropeway (if time permits).Later drive to Srinagar upon arrival and check into Hotel– Overnight stay

Day-3

SRINAGAR – GUPTA KASHI(75 Kms/2 hrs) – RAMPUR

Srinagar – Gupta Kashi – Rampur. After Breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dhari Devi Temple – Kaliya Saur (15 Kms). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (35 Kms), the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers – Alaknanda and Mandakini, have sangam view of Alknanda & Mandakkini and then drive to Okhimat (42 Kms ), visit Shri Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the Pooja is performed for 6 months

Day-4

RAMPUR – KEDARNATH – RAMPUR

Early Morning @5AM proceed to Gaurikund, Trekking Starts from Gaurikund to Kedarinath(3584mts) (38KMS/to&fro) on foot / Doli / Poni. Late Evening back to Hotel, Overnight stay at Rampur. Pilgrims going by Helicopter: Early morning proceed to Sirsi / Phata / Guptakashi Helipad to Kedarnath Helipad. Later, proceed to Kedarnath Temple by walk (1 Km.). After Darshan / Pooja at Temple, return to Helipad to board the Helicopter back to Rampur/Guptakasi. Overnight stay.

Day-5

RAMPUR –PIPALKOTI

Leisure till noon. Later drive to Pipalkoti and check into your Hotel - Overnight Stay

Day-6

PIPALKOTI – BADRINATH(79 kms / 3.5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, check out the Hotel and drive to Badrinath, check into your Hotel. Later visit to Mana Village (3 kms), the last Village before the Tibetan border and return to Hotel. Evening have Darshan of Shri Badrinath Ji. Overnight Stay.

Day-7

BADRINATH – HARIDWAR (315 Kms/10 hrs)

Upon arrival and check into Hotel – Overnight stay

Day-8

HARIDWAR – DELHI DROP(240 Kms/5 hrs)

After Breakfast proceed to Delhi and drop at Delhi.
