Overview

Uttarakhand, formerly known as Uttaranchal, is a state in the northern part of India. It is often referred to as the "Devbhumi" due to its religious significance and numerous Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres found throughout the state. Uttarakhand is known for the natural environment of the Himalayas, the Bhabar and the Terai regions. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north; the Sudurpashchim Pradesh of Nepal to the east; the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh to the south and Himachal Pradesh to the west and north-west. The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon with a total of 13 districts. The winter capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city of the state, which is a rail head. Gairsain, a town in Chamoli district is the summer capital of Uttarakhand. The High Court of the state is located in Nainital.

DAY-1

DELHI LOCAL VISITS – HARIDWAR(240 Kms/5 hrs)

Pickup and transfer to Hotel for freshup and Breakfast and then visit Qutab Minar, India Gate, Red Fort, Lotus Temple, Indira Gandhi Memorial, Birla Mandir, Rajghat, Sri Balaji Mandir [Lotus Temple, Indira Ghandi memorial & Red Fort will be closed on Monday]– overnight journey to Haridwar

HARIDWAR – RISHIKESH – BARKOT

Morning After Breakfast, Proceed to Rishikesh On Arrival visit Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola, Shiva Nanda Ashramam, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, After Lunch Proceed to Barkot (190KMS / 6-7 HRS)- Overnight Stay

BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT

Early Morning Proceed to Hanuman chatty (38 KMS / 2 HRS), Later take a Local Jeep to Janakichatti (by local Jeeps on Own), Proceed to Yamunotri Temple (trek 5 KMS On Own), After Darshan back to Barkot - Overnight stay

BARKOT – UTTARKASHI

After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, Leisure till Afternoon. After Lunch Proceed to Uttarakashi, Evening visit Trishul Temple, - Overnight stay

UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI

Morning After Breakfast, proceed to Gangotri (110 KMS / 4 HRS), Visit the Holy Shrine Goddess Ganga, After taking a dip in to holy river, back to Uttarkashi, Overnight Stay

UTTARKASHI - SRINAGAR

Morning After Breakfast, proUttarkashi-Srinagarceed to Srinagar (155 KMS / 7-8HRS), En route visit Tehri Dam, Evening Arrival Check into Hotel, Overnight stay

SRINAGAR – RUDRAPRAYAG -RAMPUR/SITAPUR/GUPTHAKASHI

Morning After Breakfast, proceed to Rudraprayag (35 KMS / 1.5 HRS) where the two holy rivers Alakanada and Mandakini meet with each other, Evening Stay at Rampur/Guptakasi/Sitapur

RAMPUR/SITAPUR/GUPTAKASI – KEDARINATH – RAMPUR/GUPTAKASI

Early Morning @5AM proceed to Gaurikund, Trekking Starts from Gaurikund to Kedarinath(3584mts) (38KMS/to&fro) on foot / Doli / Poni. Late Evening back to Hotel, Overnight stay at Rampur. Pilgrims going by Helicopter: Early morning proceed to Sirsi / Phata / Guptakashi Helipad to Kedarnath Helipad. Later, proceed to Kedarnath Temple by walk (1 Km.). After Darshan / Pooja at Temple, return to Helipad to board the Helicopter back to Rampur/Guptakasi. Overnight stay.

RAMPUR – BADRINATH

Early Morning After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, proceed to Badrinath(240KMS/11-12HRS), Overnight stay

Day-10

BADRINATH – PIPALKOT

Early Morning visit Shri Badrinath ji, After Darsan / Breakfast proceed to vist Mana Village (the last village before Indo – Tibetan Border), After Lunch proceed to Pipalkot (80KMS/4HRS), Evening Arrive check in Hotel, Dinner, Overnight stay

PIPALKOT – HARIDWAR

Early Morning After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, proceed to Haridwar (240KMS / 9-10HRS), Evening Arrive visit Ganga Arthi, check in Hotel, Dinner, Overnight stay

Day-12

HARIDWAR – DELHI

Early Morning visit Manasa Devi, Chandi Devi, After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, proceed to Delhi (210 KMS / 5-6 HRS), Evening drop at Delhi Airport
