Overview

The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.

ITINERARY

Day 1

CHENNAI – PORT BLAIR

Pickup from Port Blair Airport and transfer to Hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour. Visit Samudrika Museum , Fisheries Aquarium, the famous Cellular Jail, and Sound and light show at Cellular Jail, where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive – Overnight stay

Day 2

PORT BLAIR – HAVELOCK – PORT BLAIR

After breakfast proceed to Havelock Island Departure by Cruise from Port Blair to Havelock Island and visit Radha Nagar Beach. Evening Back to Port Blair – Overnight stay

Day 3

PORT BLAIR – BARATANG/RED SKIN/ JOLLY BAY ISLANDS – PORT BLAIR

After breakfast Proceed to Baratang Island or Red Skin Island or Joully Bay Island. Evening return to Port Blair - Overnight stay

Day 4

PORT BLAIR – 03 ISLANDS (ROSS ISLAND, NORTH BAY ISLAND & WIPER ISLAND)-PORT BLAIR

8:30 AM. Departure to North Bay (Place for Coral snorkeling and swimming), Ross Island from where the britishers governed the entire Andaman & Nicobar Islands prior to India independence and Viper Island ( Harbour Cruise). Evening shopping at Cottage Emporium – Overnight stay

Day 5

PORT BLAIR AIRPORT DROP

After Breakfast check out from Hotel and transfer to Port Blair Airport.

1. The famous jail of ‘Kala Pani’?
Cellular Prison, better known as ‘Kala Pani’, was the home of many activists and freedom fighters during the colonial period. Now it is a tourist spot and there are a light and sound show in the evening.
2. The largest sea turtle nest here?
The largest turtle Andaman and Nicobar Islands have the world’s largest sea turtle, Leatherback (Dermochales curiacea). They are huge in size and every year thousands of them travel to Andaman. These turtles have seen nesting in Digipur and many other places in northern and central Andaman from December to January.
3. Enjoy two-way aircraft?
Jal Hanks, India’s first two-wheeler aircraft launched here on the 21st. Water Hanks is an eight-seat Celina 208 that features modern navigation, can travel up to 250 km an hour, and even land.
4.Commercial fishing is prohibited in the Andaman Islands?
The government took this step to protect biodiversity from commercial exploitation.
