Overview

Uttarakhand, a state in northern India crossed by the Himalayas, is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. Rishikesh, a major centre for yoga study, was made famous by the Beatles’ 1968 visit. The city hosts the evening Ganga Aarti, a spiritual gathering on the sacred Ganges River. The state's forested Jim Corbett National Park shelters Bengal tigers and other native wildlife.

ITINERARY

DAY-1

DELHI - NAINITAL (310 Kms/8 hrs)

Pickup and proceed to Nanital – Upon arrival Check into hotel Evening leisure – overnight stay

DAY-2

NAINITAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast you will visit some of the most beautiful lakes of the region at the foothills of Himalayas famous for scenic beauty, Bhimtal and Naukuchiyatal. Later drive to Ramgarh and enjoy your delicious lunch in the backdrop of the Snow Clad mountains. Rest of the day at leisure for shopping and individual activities.

Day-3

NAINITAL-RANIKHET (55 Kms/2 hrs)

Morning Proceed for a half day excursion enjoy boating at Naini lake and visit Naina Devi Temple and then proceed to Ranikhet upon arrival visit hundreds of bells adorn ,Jhula Devi Temple, Nanda Devi Temple and Gandhi Kuti (Mahatma Gandhi stayed in a hut in nearby Tarikhet village during the independence struggle)

Day-4

RANIKHET – KAUSANI (60 KMS/2 hrs)

After breakfat proceed to Kausani up on arrival Check into hotel Day leisure – overnight stay

Day-5

KAUSANI SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Rudradhari Falls and Caves , Anasakti Ashram and Kausani Tea Estate – overnight stay

Day-6

KAUSANI – DELHI (430 Kms/10 hrs)

Morning proceed to Delhi , upon arrival drop at Delhi Airport / Railway station
